Bones shifts from one foot to the other and tries to think of a good explanation for what he just did, but he can’t.
He sits down on the couch and the cat immediately curls up with him, so Bones pets him idly for a moment before he decides against some kind of rant and says, quietly: ) Sometimes it’s just good to have both your feet on the ground.
